Google Reviews are incredibly important for a property services company for several reasons. Here’s how to earn 5 Star Google Reviews from Condo Boards:

  • Credibility and Trust: Positive reviews act as social proof. They showcase past customer satisfaction. Reviews also build trust with potential clients who are searching for reliable service providers.
  • Increased Visibility: Google’s search algorithm prioritizes businesses with strong review profiles. Reviews boos your company’s ranking in local searches for services.
  • Improved Conversion Rates: Studies show that potential customers are more likely to choose a company with a higher number of positive reviews.
  • Valuable Feedback: Reviews provide insights into your strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and tailor your services for better resident experiences.

Happy Condo Owners

There’s over 100 happy customers here!

You are a tradesperson that landed a contract to service over 100 condominium units. You would think there are at least 80 five star Google reviews within your grasp. True – not so true, read on. Here’s some little known secrets to earn 5 Star Google Reviews from condo boards that love your work.

How do you get reviews from the 100’s of residents when you only have one contact that you are dealing with? We consulted with Paula Martin, our trusted advisor on all things condominium related and Owner of Condo Relief Consulting. Paula gave me some great advice on how to approach this issue.

What doesn’t work when you want to earn 5 Star Google Reviews from Condo Boards

Non-starter: Messaging a list of residents using an application such as Nice Job is out of the question due to privacy issues, so that method is a non-starter.

Might Work: Requesting a review from a resident in person with your phone using a QR code or a link is ok, as long as you get permission from the hiring contact before work starts. This still may not be the best, because the work may be great for the resident, but the condo board may have issues with the contractor doing the work (invoicing, scheduling, scope changes etc.)

The most likely route to success

Earn 5 Star Google Reviews from Condo Boards

At the start of the contract, ask your Condo Board contact, and all the members of the board that were involved with your work to give you a review. Be sure to ask them to note the number of units you serviced in their review. If they don’t make mention of that, you may respond to the review mentioning the scope of work that was done.

Gary Pitcher

Web Developer

Gary has forgotten more about technology than most of us will ever know. He’s worked in dozens of industries in a wide variety of roles and solves difficult problems recreationally. By the time you’ve formulated your question, Gary already has an answer, which would be annoying except he’s so darned nice about it.

Adrian Proctor

Web Developer

When you put Adrian behind a keyboard, magic happens. On stage, that means he’s making music. At work, he’s bringing website designs to life. Adrian is probably the quietest member of the Unrivald Digital team, but when he speaks, we all listen because we know he’s got something important to say.

Shaheen Bhimani

Director

Shaheen is the guy you want in your corner when you’ve got a complex problem to solve in the next 15 minutes. He’s part MacGyver, part Tony Stark and part while still being the nicest guy in the room, hands down. His soft-spoken, down-to-earth vibe and ability to deliver makes him a client favourite.

Blair Shunk

Founder

Whether leading a meeting, riding his motorcycle, or running in the Banff Jasper Relay (for which he was Race Director for many years), Blair connects with the world around him. He inspires his team to work hard while never forgetting the value of the relationships he builds with clients.
